From the Sea

Seaweed Jewels was born from a story of love and farewell with the ocean.

It began with a single shell found on a Brazilian beach, turned into an anklet carrying memories across the sea. That simple piece traveled with me to Ireland, where new shells inspired my first necklace. What started as a keepsake became the seed of a dream: to transform the ocean’s natural beauty into timeless jewelry that tells stories.

In Portugal, this dream grew stronger. On the sands of Ilha Deserta, unique shells revealed themselves as true treasures, and from them emerged pieces that drew attention and admiration, and it was then I realized there were many other mermaids like me, longing to keep the poetry of the ocean close to their hearts.

During the pandemic, I chose to leave behind a limiting routine and follow a greater purpose. That is how Seaweed Jewels was born: first with simple creations, and now with handcrafted 925 silver jewelry. Every piece carries the rhythm of the waves and the tides; the delicacy of natural pearls, and the textures of the sea, shaped into designs that are unique and timeless.
